Part 3 of the Advanced Webinar Series on Spatiotemporal Modeling of Climate-Sensitive Diseases.

This session provides a comprehensive introduction to the Chap modeling platform, purpose-built to streamline the development and rigorous evaluation of disease forecasting models. Chap also comes out of the box with functionality to disseminate models for real-world use – to later operationalize and connect models to DHIS2. Participants will follow a complete live walkthrough, from preparing input climate and health datasets, training predictive models, generating disease forecasts, to rigorously evaluating prediction accuracy against real-world outcomes.

Note: While open to everyone, this webinar series is targeting technically prepared participants with Python/R skills, epi/stats expertise, and motivation to develop or work with early warning systems for climate-sensitive diseases.
