Webinar: Noncommunicable Disease Data in National HMIS: Rapid Reviews from Four Countries

To counter the growing burden of Noncommunicable Disease (NCDs), health system leaders and global stakeholders are calling for more robust and routine facility-level data on NCD services.

This year, four HISP groups — Ethiopia, Ghana, Malawi, and Rwanda — conducted rapid reviews of NCD data availability and quality in each country’s DHIS2-based national Health Management Information System (HMIS). In this webinar, these HISP groups will present findings from their assessments, including possible linkages they identified with non-HMIS systems, which will inform their future planned activities to strengthen NCD data quality and data use.
