HISP Highlights February 2026

The February 2026 HISP Highlights post features the latest news, achievements, and updates from across our global HISP network.

2 Mar 2026 HISP: History, Work & Impact

From climate–health modeling and digital health registers to education, agriculture, and supply chains, February highlighted hands-on system strengthening across the HISP network. Trainings in Rwanda, Togo, Ethiopia, and Uganda advanced skills in spatiotemporal modeling, antenatal care, animal health, and facility data integration. On implementation, teams supported national DHIS2 efforts from a technical mission in Morocco to vaccine logistics upgrades in Rwanda, education system strengthening in South Sudan, and cross-sector programs spanning health, education, and agriculture. Globally, Morten Dæhlen represented DHIS2 at the India AI Impact Summit alongside leaders including Karianne Tung, while HISP colleagues shared insights at major digital public infrastructure and open-source collaboration events.
